Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File Review
Scholl is a trusted brand in foot care products. I have been using their Scholl Refreshing Foot Soak for quite some time now and it works wonders. They have recently launched Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File which is a pedicure device.
How it works:
The electrical device’s micro-rollers gently remove areas of hard skin so thoroughly it leaves your feet beautiful and luxuriously soft.
How to use:
Gently roll across the affected area with light to medium pressure and even movements. Repeat regularly.
The Electronic Foot File has an exfoliated head which rotates. It is meant to be used on the soles and hard skin of the feet only. The instructions on how to use the device are clearly mentioned on the packaging. You need to hold the rotating part on your feet to exfoliate to remove dead skin.
It is to be used on dry feet only. While exfoliating you can see the dry white dead skin coming out. After exfoliating, I wash my feet and apply foot cream. I use it every alternate day, since i have lots of hard skin on my feet. It makes my feet more smoother with each usage and I’m loving the result. Although, it does takes time to completely get rid of cracked soles.
This is an automated pedicure device which runs on 4 AA batteries. There is a red plastic safety flap on top of the batteries, which needs to be removed before using the product. To switch it on, you need to rotate from O to I. Also, there is a blue button at the side of the roller, which can be pressed to remove the head for cleaning. The device does not heat up, even if used continuously for a long period. If you apply too much pressure on your feet, the device will stop automatically.
I feel that the price is too high and that’s definitely a downside. Apart from that, for the price they are charging, I wish it came with a replacement head. However, overall I’m still quite satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend it.
