I got Spicy Cinnamon & Tropical Punch from this range. Maybelline Spiced Up lip balms are decently pigmented and have a shiny finish. They cover my pigmented lips well. They glide on the lips easily unlike waxy lip balms. This range is very similar to the original baby lips color line. However, the price has been hiked. These lip balms are very hydrating on my lips. They stay for about 3-4 hours on my lips and leave a tint behind.
Spicy cinnamon is a light brown shade. Now i’m not into brown lip colors, because they make my face look dull. But this one, particularly looks fabulous on my lips. It doesn’t look muddy either .Its quite unique and the only brown tinted lip balm I’ve ever come across. And the best part, it smells like cinnamon too.
Tropical Punch is light berry shade and very wearable. Its a common color which you will find in other brands too. The color is somewhat similar to Nivea Pomegranate lip balm.
I love baby lips for their moisturizing quality and color pay off. I would totally recommend them, especially Spicy cinnamon. I wish they has come up with more unique shades like purple in this collection.
