Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream Review
With pure essential oils of rose & jasmine. This nourishing Ayurvedic face cream made with a blend of pure ingredients, described in the ancient Ashtanga Hrudayam Ayurveda text as the ideal treatment for smooth, soft and clear skin. The herbs are processed in pure coconut milk and sesame oil. Costus and Cardamom are known for their Varneekarana properties – the ability to enhance skin texture. Costus is especially known for its soothing effect on skin. These are blended with Aloe Vera which has antiseptic properties, prevents acne, blemishes, fine lines and acts as a protection against the sun. A 100% natural emulsifier derived from Olive Oil enables high skin absorption and is moisturising. The essential oils of rose and jasmine purify and nurture the skin. The ideal treatment for the face, to be used daily.

My skin feels tight after application of Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream. It keeps my face matte for about an hour, after which it starts getting greasy. I have combination skin and most face creams get greasy on my face after some time, if I don’t set it with powder. The cream is white colored and has a thick consistency. It comes in a glass jar which doesn’t seem very travel friendly.
The cream needs to be massaged into the skin for some time to avoid the white cast. Even after that, I feel like this cream doesn’t get absorbed into the skin, but just sits on top. When I wash my face with water hours after application, the creams just comes off my face. Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream has a strong herbal kind of smell which doesn’t bother me much. Its a good day cream, although don’t expect any moisturization.
Non-greasy and light for daytime.
Suitable for normal, oily & combination skin.
Not moisturizing enough for dry skin.
Doesn’t get absorbed quickly, needs to be massaged.
BG Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
Overall Verdict: If you have normal, combination or oily skin and are looking for a lightweight day cream, this will do the job but don’t expect any moisturizing.
