Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Warm Honey 010 Review

Everybody in the beauty community raves about Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, so I decided to try it. I know, I’m late to jump on this bandwagon now. Anyways, I picked up the shade 010 warm honey. This is the darkest shade in this range and yet it is not dark enough for olive skin tonnes. If you’re above NC 40, you may not find a shade match.

Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream Review
Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream Review

My skin feels tight after application of Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream. It keeps my face matte for about an hour, after which it starts getting greasy. I have combination skin and most face creams get greasy on my face after some time, if I don’t set it with powder. The cream is white colored and has a thick consistency. It comes in a glass jar which doesn’t seem very travel friendly.

The cream needs to be massaged into the skin for some time to avoid the white cast. Even after that, I feel like this cream doesn’t get absorbed into the skin, but just sits on top. When I wash my face with water hours after application, the creams just comes off my face. Kama Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream has a strong herbal kind of smell which doesn’t bother me much. Its a good day cream, although don’t expect any moisturization.

Pros:
Non-greasy and light for daytime.
Suitable for normal, oily & combination skin.
Ayurvedic Ingredients.

Cons:
Not moisturizing enough for dry skin.
Doesn’t get absorbed quickly, needs to be massaged.
Costly.

BG Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Overall Verdict: If you have normal, combination or oily skin and are looking for a lightweight day cream, this will do the job but don’t expect any moisturizing.
