Now, let’s steal a look at the reasons why should always refrain from pricking or popping at your pimples. Read below:

It leaves a permanent scar mark: Bursting off a pimple on your face by force can leave a scar mark which is hard to remove. Sometimes, squeezing the pimple can make it red, swollen and hard, thus making it impossible to hide.

It pains a lot: Popping at a pimple do hurt a lot… especially the hard ones. Hence it is always advised that you stop pinching on it. Instead depend on a doctor to help you out in the right way. Also avoid using too much make up and cosmetics on the pimples.

It can cause serious infection problem: Rough handling of pimples also result in serious infection which becomes hard to heal. Take the suggestion of a dermatologist and use herbal products to avoid scarring and blemish marks.

It can add more pimples: It is observed that popping a pimple can become an ongoing problem, resulting in birth of new pimples. As you prick at a pimple, sometimes the fluid gets spread on the skin which results in origin of new ones.

According to medical studies it is revealed that pimples stay for six months approximately. Therefore it is strongly suggested that you abstain from pricking or popping your pimples, even if you feel a powerful urge to do so.

Baking Soda Scrub For oily combination skin and Large Pores

Today im going to talk about the natural homemade scrub that I use.
I always thought natural remedies never work compared to chemical skincare products.
Lately I’ve switched to natural home remedies for skin problems.
And their working wonders for my skin.
Also this natural scrub doesn’t cause ant breakouts.

So the only scrub that i use twice a week or whenever I feel like I need some facial scrubbing is a paste of baking soda and water.
Yes that its, thats the scrub I use.
I have oily combination skin.
Actually an oily T-zone on my nose and the rest of the skin is normal.
But my face tends to look oily if I don’t control the oil.

So this scrub is not very gentle nor very harsh, But perfect for facial skin.
it has medium coarse crystals of Sodium Bi-carbonate.
Sodium Bi-carbonate is actually baking soda in common terms.
Don’t get confused with baking powder, thats a bit different, as baking soda is a more pure form of Sodium Bi-carbonate.

Baking Soda Scrub is Useful and recommended for:
Oily, combination skin & normal skin types.
To Reduces large pores.
Anti -ageing
If you have whiteheads and blackheads.
Some say, it even helps acne. I haven’t checked on that yet.
But i do feel when you keep the oil under control, thats a preventing acne and breakouts.
At least for me.

How to make the Baking Soda Scrub:
Mix half teaspoon on Baking Soda with some drops of water to make a medium consistency paste.
Scrub for about 10-15 seconds, not more.
Do not use near delicate eye area.
wash off with cold water.
Follow with a moisturizer or a sunscreen if you’re going out

Warning:
Not suitable for dry and sensitive skin.
little redness is expected after usage.
However, reduce the quantity of Baking soda in the scrub next time, if you experience redness.
May irritate sensitive skin.
Do not use over existing acne.
Moisturisation is a must after using this scrub because its quite drying.
Also remember to use a sunscreen if you ex-foliate, before stepping out in the sun.

Zinc:
Lack of Zinc causes damage the scalp and limit hair growth.
Zinc stops premature graying of hair.
Zinc battles with calcium for absorption which means taking both at the same time isn’t the brightest idea as calcium will hinder the uptake of zinc.
Limit tea, coffee, cola as it contains caffiene which does not allow zinc absorbtion in our body.
Recommended dosage of Zinc for adults is 10mg per day.
Sources include red meats, poultry, liver, mussels, shrimps, egg yolks, nuts ,soy products , wholegrain.
Try to take Zinc just before bed time for maximum results.
